My Book Of Centuries

 950.00

“The Book of Centuries is to history study what Nature Notebook is to science: calling for focused observation and providing mental hooks, like Velcro.  It is not meant to carry all the facts and personages the child encounters, just as the Nature notebook could never cover all biology and natural history. It is designed to support sorting and relationship, connection, observation, and meditation.” – Laurie Bestvater, The Living Page

As a child starts his recording of people and events in the History Accordion Timeline starting in Year 1, child is now ready to add on My Book of Centuries when he is 10 years old or in year 4. My Book of  Centuries is meant to be used hand in hand with the History Accordion Timeline, each with a different goal but both meant to cultivate a profound understanding of history.
