It seems odd but I look forward to my weekly pre-reading hours. It’s usually on a Friday afternoon and might carry on until night. I take my time and read through all the chapters that my children will be tackling the following week. I jot down notes to prepare for my children’s narrations and possible discussions. I gather the pictures, links, and maps needed. I examine my weekly targets and schedule it proportionally throughout the week. I make sure that each day has hours and hours of free time for the children, to give way for their other interests. Not every day is the same but with a weekly goal in mind, I can easily adjust if needed.
All this planning with a cup of coffee, some sweets, favorite pens, my midori and my giant moleskine.
…just a few of my favorite things to do on a Friday afternoon.
I recently found your blog and am enjoying it, thank you.

Thank you 🙂
Hi Gina, where do you usually buy your books here in the Phils?
Hi. Unfortunately, books here in the Philippines are limited. I have no choice but to buy all my books from Amazon.
